From as early as I can remember—maybe around 7 years old—I felt a pull on my heart.
A deep knowing that I was meant to care for others. Not just as a job… but as a calling.
As a teenager, that calling got louder. I didn’t just want to work in healthcare—I wanted to understand the art of caregiving. I wanted to be there for my family, my community, and anyone who needed comfort during life’s hardest moments.
I took my very first job at Johns Hopkins Hospital, delivering patient trays.
It might’ve seemed like a small start, but to me, it was sacred. I was serving people. I was learning. And I was exactlywhere I was meant to be.
That beginning opened the door to what would become a 20+ year journey in healthcare. I became a CNA, served at Sinai Hospital, and spent nearly 8 years as a Patient Care Technician at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center. In 2015, I stepped into the surgical world and joined the Anesthesia Team as a Surgical Tech. Every step of the way, I kept showing up with compassion and grit.
But even with all that experience, something in me still whispered:
There’s more to do. Go back to the dream.
Then came the moment that changed my life forever.
I lost my beautiful mother to cancer.
That grief broke something in me—and built something, too.
I made a vow to become the kind of support my mom deserved.
And from that vow, Excellent Heart Home Care was born.

At Excellent Heart Home Care, we specialize in non-medical oncology support—because I know firsthand what it’s like to walk through the cancer journey.
And I know that during treatment, recovery, and even on the good days… you still need care, dignity, and understanding.
My team and I are deeply trained in all areas of non-medical home care—from personal care and companionship to meal prep and assistance after chemo.
But beyond the skills, we bring something else: heart.
We don’t just show up—we show up with purpose.

I’m the proud mother of seven incredible children—five daughters and two sons. And would you believe that four of my daughters have also stepped into healthcare? One even became a Registered Nurse.
In our family, caregiving isn’t just a profession—it’s a way of life.
It’s who we are.
Today, I carry my mother’s memory with me into every home we serve.
Every client becomes like family.
Every caregiver on my team is chosen with excellence in mind.
And every service we offer is rooted in love, dignity, and faith.
