Not just as a job\u2026 but as a calling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a teenager, that calling got louder. I didn\u2019t just want to work in healthcare\u2014I wanted to&nbsp;<em>understand<\/em>&nbsp;the art of caregiving. I wanted to be there for my family, my community, and anyone who needed comfort during life\u2019s hardest moments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I took my very first job at&nbsp;<strong>Johns Hopkins Hospital<\/strong>, delivering patient trays.<br>It might\u2019ve seemed like a small start, but to me, it was sacred. I was serving people. I was learning. And I was&nbsp;<em>exactly<\/em>where I was meant to be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That beginning opened the door to what would become a 20+ year journey in healthcare. I became a&nbsp;<strong>CNA<\/strong>, served at&nbsp;<strong>Sinai Hospital<\/strong>, and spent nearly 8 years as a&nbsp;<strong>Patient Care Technician<\/strong>&nbsp;at the&nbsp;<strong>University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center<\/strong>. In 2015, I stepped into the surgical world and joined the&nbsp;<strong>Anesthesia Team<\/strong>&nbsp;as a&nbsp;<strong>Surgical Tech<\/strong>. Every step of the way, I kept showing up with compassion and grit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But even with all that experience, something in me still whispered:<br><em>There\u2019s more to do. Go back to the dream.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then came the moment that changed my life forever.<br>I lost my beautiful mother to cancer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That grief broke something in me\u2014and built something, too.<br>I made a vow to become the kind of support my mom deserved.<br>And from that vow,&nbsp;<strong>Excellent Heart Home Care<\/strong>&nbsp;was born.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\" wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udc9c What We Do \u2014 And Why It Matters<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At Excellent Heart Home Care, we specialize in&nbsp;<strong>non-medical oncology support<\/strong>\u2014because I know firsthand what it\u2019s like to walk through the cancer journey.<br>And I know that during treatment, recovery, and even on the good days\u2026 you still need care, dignity, and understanding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My team and I are deeply trained in&nbsp;<strong>all areas of non-medical home care<\/strong>\u2014from personal care and companionship to meal prep and assistance after chemo.<br>But beyond the skills, we bring something else:&nbsp;<strong>heart<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We don\u2019t just show up\u2014we&nbsp;<em>show up with purpose<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\" wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udcaa\ud83c\udffd A Legacy of Care<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I\u2019m the proud mother of&nbsp;<strong>seven incredible children<\/strong>\u2014five daughters and two sons. And would you believe that four of my daughters have also stepped into healthcare? One even became a Registered Nurse.<br>In our family, caregiving isn\u2019t just a profession\u2014it\u2019s a way of life.<br>It\u2019s who we are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today, I carry my mother\u2019s memory with me into every home we serve.<br>Every client becomes like family.<br>Every caregiver on my team is chosen with excellence in mind.<br>And every service we offer is
